The invisible NFC (Near-Field Communication) chip at the tip of the mushroom sculpture, turns it into a “smart” sculpture, allowing you to scan it with your smartphone and run or write automations. This step is voluntary, yet with a bit of research, you’d be able to use the sculpture to, for example:
Share your wifi password with your guests
Open any link (website, song, music playlist, etc)
Unlock smart lock
Turn on/off a smart lightbulb (or other appliances)
Save a password
Etc, etc, etc
All modern smartphones are capable of writing and reading such chips, without needing a 3rd party app. The number of automations are literally endless.
